DIRECTIONS TO HAMBURG STATE PARK OBSERVING SITE
Check dates for observing sessions and alternate dates if applicable.
All participants please try to arrive before dark. If you arrive after dark,
please practice proper "Star Party" etiquette by approaching the site with
minimum lights.

DIRECTIONS:
From Savannah:
Take I-16 west to Exit 71. Travel Hwy 15/78 to Sandersville. Go all the way through
Sandersville, staying on Hwy 15 to Warthen. Take Hwy 102 out of Warthen. You will
see a small state park sign where Hwy 102 begins. Drive about 1.5 miles until you come upon
Hamburg State Park Road where you will see another state park sign. Stay on Hamburg
State Park Road for about 6 miles until you see the main park entrance. Drive across the small bridge.
You will see the mill and dam on your left hand side as well the Park Office and Store. Drive past
all this until you start up a fairly steep road. Turn left at the ballfield.
